[Vesper has taken a day or so to get everything under control before addressing the Barge at large, or even venturing outside her room. Despite the decidedly rocky start to her time here, she's still very much interested in making a good first impression, because it doesn't take an idiot to know how important those are, and she is certainly not an idiot.
So when she turns on the camera, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to suspect that anything's wrong or upsetting her. She's very well put together - her dark hair is tied back from her face in a simple but stylish bun, and her dark colored blouse is similarly uncomplicated but classy - and wastes no time getting down to business.]
Good evening. My name is Vesper Lynd, and I've accepted an offer to be a warden here for the foreseeable future. I'm looking forward to working with all of you.
[Her tone changes slightly, not anywhere close to openly mocking the Admiral or questioning his judgment, but there's certainly a slight edge to it, because seriously, this seems really inefficient and ridiculous.] And if anyone has any advice or information they'd like to offer, the Admiral did seem to be a bit vague on some of the details of what to actually expect.
[Warden Filter]
[She wasn't sure she actually wanted to say this, but as apparently should be expected by now, concern is winning out over common sense, and she's already wondering how much she's going to be kicking herself over this later.]
Specifically, I was wondering if there was any particular way to convince a passenger [She's reluctant to say inmate, because she knows enough about how this place works to know how they get here and what that means, and she doesn't want to think about Bond dying, even if he was certainly the opposite of pleased to see her.] who seems to think this is all an elaborate ruse that this is, in fact, reality.
[Although she realizes how utterly ridiculous that sounds, given where they are and how some of them came here, and she manages a small, wry smile.] Or as close to reality as we're likely to get, anyway.

Collecting a list of folks with those particular qualifications. Trying to get a baseline on this place

You know that thing they say about horses and water? If you got someone who thinks this place ain't real, my advice is, wait 'till someone knocks it into him that it is. [A swift, sobering punch to the face is a hard point to argue with.]

Thank you for answering so candidly, Mister...?

That's a common problem, unfortunately. Time will usually solve it!

[Warden Filter]
Usually? I'd hate to think there are people who have been here for months and still don't understand what's happened to them.

It's a pleasure, even if it sounds like the situation's a tough one.

We should hand out pamphlets.
What have you learned so far?
[Warden Filter]
And sometimes, it's best to just wait. Give them time.
[Warden Filter]
It does though, this sucks Babs. B(]
Wardens and inmates are assigned twice a month, and there are various unusual events that disrupt day to day life on the ship every few weeks. I'm afraid the rest of the details were a bit fragmented.

You'll probably regret taking his offer in a month or two.

I'm starting to see why he wouldn't think to outline all of this before making the offer in the first place.

[The name pings something somewhere but if she ever makes the connection it'll take her a while, it's not like Tosh had time to go to the cinema when she was alive B|]
To answer your question, it does depend on context. Some people adjust more easily because, well, they've led lives that make the Barge seem less likely to be anything other than what it is.

Did he give you a good deal or is this just out of the goodness of your heart?
