[Backdated to after this thread; Vesper doesn't bother with filters because she's in a hurry, bordering on panicked but mostly just confused because-]
I think there's been some sort of gas leak, [Or something, but she has no idea how it happened or if it's affecting the rest of the ship or what.] James is unconscious, I need help getting him to the infirmary.
[She's about to leave it at that, but.]
We're on the sixth floor in the hallway.

[ And in two shakes there's a very tall man in a tux, opera cape and wearing gloves in the hallway. He's got a tictac on his head. You know, no big. Just another day on the barge. ]
Got here fast as I could. Is he breathing?
no subject
But back to the more important matter at hand.]
Yes, but it's not as regular as it should be.

[ He came closer, felt for the man's pulse. ]
Helm's got a filtration system, so I don't get anything other than fresh, clean air in here.

[ He's no stranger to hauling injured out, though James is going to be more unwieldy than others might be. ]

[She's small, but she's definitely ready and willing to help, and lingers a bit for his instruction, not sure how he wants to do this.]

[ His reflective 'face' made it hard to tell where he was looking, but his attention seemed to be on Vesper at the moment. ]
I can carry him on my own, pretty sure, but... more hands, lighter work.
no subject
Which again, is just all kinds of absurd, but there it is.]
Of course. [And she goes to do just that, waiting again for his word or signal that they're ready to get moving.]

Alright. Lift on three.
One. Two. Three!
[ And HEFT! ]
no subject
Thank you for helping.

I'm Red Hood. Nice to make your acquaintance... circumstances being what they are. [ What do you do, it's the barge. ]
[ He helps with the carry; it's a practiced motion, he's used to doing this. ]

Same ship, different day.]
This is James, and he isn't likely to say thank you when he wakes up, so I'd like to repeat it on his behalf.

So, is there -- a stove in your cabin? Or anything like that?
[ Since acrid gas and all. ]

[ The elevator finally dings on floor two. Their stop. ]
Alright, let's get sleeping beauty in there and check him for natural gas poisoning.

[Especially knowing what kind of trouble Bond usually gets himself into, but she doesn't comment on that.]

If we got to him in time, he should wake up once he's re-oxygenated, though recovery can be a bitch. He'll be oxygen deprived -- since he moved into the hall, going to guess he was exposed to high concentration, realized he felt weird, and collapsed in the hall. So he's probably not going to have any brain impairment from exposure. All depends on how long he was enduring before he moved.
[ The joy of being a chemist: knowing how to treat shit that happens all the time in chemical plants and labs that work with volatile substances. ]
The infirmary will handle the rest -- but if you don't mind, I'd like to check your cabin for gas leaks?
no subject
That's fine, but he wasn't in the hall, he was in his room. I went in, realized something was wrong, and pulled him out about five or so minutes later. I have no idea how long he was in there before I found him.

I'm going to leave his diagnosis to the medical pros here. I'm a doctor, Jim, but not that kind of doctor.
[ ...ba-dum-tish! ]

This is not really a good day.] The door's unlocked if you want to investigate, although I suppose I'd appreciate it if you didn't broadcast that fact until we're certain it's been thoroughly investigated.
[We don't need whoever's responsible to creep back in and hide whatever evidence there is.]
no subject
I can be discreet. I'll head back down now; good luck with you and your beau.
no subject
[And now it's time to go fill Dr. Banner or whoever's on duty right now in on what happened.]
no subject
I'm on my way down, but you need to stay low to the floor. Is there anything out of place around?
[If he remembers the last time they got into it over emergency situations, he doesn't show it.]
no subject
And not that I noticed, but my focus was on getting him out, so I didn't have much time to investigate what might have been moved around. The door was locked.
no subject
Did you close the door behind?

[Warden Filter]
The door's unlocked. I had other priorities when I left.
~~~> Private ]
I get that, but in this place, it could be an accident or it could just be an accident that he was found. And I'm head of maintenance: either way, I need to find out what's going on.
Were you in your room?
Private ]
And no, I wasn't. I haven't been in either room since this morning.
[ Private ]
Just Dean.
You been somewhere that other people would know that? That you weren't there, I mean?
[ Private ]
[Not that she'd really thought there was any particular reason to be hiding, or keeping her habits a secret or whatever else.] I don't know when James would have been back, either, or whether or not someone would have been paying attention to something like that.
[ Private ]
Awesome.
Did you ever figure out that rat thing?
[ Private ]
[ Private ]
I'll get back to you when I know more.
