[Vesper spent most of port A. by herself being sad or B. trying to help her stupid ex (?) not freeze to death on the streets or get arrested. She's been quiet and continuing to basically keep to herself, but when she addresses the Barge today, she's as put together and professional-but-friendly(ish) as she was in her first post to the network, once again wearing a dark blouse and keeping her hair back from her face in a bun. She's also wearing the necklace someone got her for Christmas. B(]

I suppose that wasn't bad, as far as first ports go. The way everyone spoke about them when I arrived, I was almost expecting being dumped onto the set of a horror movie without warning and expected to know how to keep out of trouble. [She's not exactly overly optimistic about her chances if/when they do end up in a setting like that. It's not like she's had much experience slaying zombies before, or anything. Which really just means she's dryly adding an afterthought to what she'd said previously.] Although perhaps that's just lulling us newcomers into a false sense of security.

[Which wouldn't really surprise her, but she moves on from it quickly enough.]
